The Dams and Sires we use in our breeding program at Blue Star Labradoodles in Spokane are carefully selected and thoughtfully paired to produce litters of exceptional Australian Labradoodle puppies that are just as incredible as their parents and ancestors. Just like mom and dad, our puppies are intelligent, faithful, and loving companions that will light up your household and entire family!
Meet the Parents: Solid & Parti Color Australian Labradoodle Dams
Every Dam at Blue Star Labradoodles has a top-quality structure and the gentle temperament of a therapy dog. Our female Australian Labradoodles are evaluated extensively for genetics, health status, and personality before joining our program.
The strict regimen of health testing we require for each Dam includes OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) hip and elbow checks, CERF examination (eyes) by an ophthalmologist vet, and comprehensive genetic testing to identify any potential health issues in their DNA.
We are proud to have had all of our current Dams evaluated by the late Pat Hastings, (dogfolk.com) a world-renown canine expert and AKC judge.
Pat evaluated our Australian Labradoodle puppies for both structure and temperament. The information she provided has helped us in determining what type of home and family best fits each puppy, as well as selecting puppies for breeding to carry on the remarkable attributes of their parents. Those puppies who received top scores—and nothing less—were selected to become our future Sires or Dams.
Female puppies selected for our program are still available to be the forever dogs of Guardian Families in Spokane and the surrounding area. Your puppy will remain in your household as a loving and cherished member of your family. We will just retain official ownership and breeding rights for a period time until their program is completed. Our Australian Labradoodles are also available to be purchased with breeding rights, if you’d like to select them to be a Dam in your own program.
